Bac-entos® Acute contains a unique combination of oral microbial strains that produce antimicrobial peptides. Beneficial oral bacteria Streptococcus salivarius SAL21, Streptococcus salivarius K13, and Lactobacillus salivarius MCT are known for their enhanced production of antimicrobial peptides, contributing to the maintenance of a balanced oral microbiota. Bacteria of the species Streptococcus salivarius and Lactobacillus salivarius are a natural part of the oral microbiota. 6′-Sialyllactose is an oligosaccharide found in breast milk. It has the ability to mimic mucosal cell receptors used by certain pathogens (e.g., viruses).
