Privacy Protection

GDPR – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation). Information according to Section 15 of Act No. 122/2013 Coll. on the protection of personal data in its current version.

Consent is granted during the registration process for the user account, with the corresponding description; this field is not pre-checked, and active action by the data subject is required to grant consent. The data subject also grants consent in accordance with Section 62 of Act No. 351/2011 Coll. on electronic communications in its valid wording, to be contacted by email for the purpose of sending newsletters.

The personal data of the data subjects will be processed in the information system of JULAMEDIC, s.r.o. The operator of this information system is JULAMEDIC, s.r.o., with its registered office at Allendeho 2769/38, 059 51 Poprad, ID: 48127205, VAT ID: SK2120061317, registered in the Commercial Register of the District Court of Prešov, section: Sro, insert no. 31447/P (hereinafter referred to as the "operator").

The operator, when processing personal data, complies with the provisions of Act No. 122/2013 Coll. on the protection of personal data and amendments to certain regulations (hereinafter referred to as "ZOU"), Act No. 351/2011 Coll. on electronic communications, Act No. 22/2004 Coll. on electronic commerce and amendments to Act No. 128/2002 Coll. on state control of the internal market regarding consumer protection and amendments to certain laws, as amended by Act No. 284/2002 Coll., all in the current wording and other legal regulations.

The legal basis for processing users' personal data is the consent of the data subject granted as described in Section 11 of the ZOU above.

The purpose of processing personal data is to send information about the offer of goods and current promotions of the operator.

The user, by submitting the registration form and checking the appropriate box “I agree with the terms and conditions,” agrees that their personal data will be processed by the company in the scope of title, first name, last name, and email address.

Personal data is voluntarily provided to the information system based on the consent of the data subject, and the validity period of consent is 5 years from the date of granting. Consent to process personal data can be withdrawn at any time by sending an email to: info@julamedic.sk. The data subject acknowledges that by withdrawing their consent, they are also withdrawing their consent to receive newsletters.

The personal data of data subjects will not be transferred to EU countries, nor will they be disclosed. Personal data may be made available or provided exclusively to persons within the JULAMEDIC group and will not be provided for further processing to other parties.

The rights of the data subject under the law are primarily as follows:
The data subject has the right, upon written request to the operator – the company – to request:
1. a) confirmation of whether or not their personal data is being processed,
2. b) information about the processing of personal data in the information system in a comprehensible form as per § 15 para. 1 items a) to e) second to sixth points; when making a decision under paragraph 5, the data subject is entitled to be familiar with the process of processing and evaluating operations;
3. c) precise information about the source from which their personal data was obtained for processing,
4. d) a list of their personal data being processed,
5. e) correction or deletion of incorrect, incomplete, or outdated personal data being processed,
6. f) deletion of personal data for which the purpose of processing has ended; if they are official documents containing personal data, they may request their return,
7. g) deletion of personal data being processed if the law was violated,
8. h) blocking of personal data due to withdrawal of consent before its expiration if the operator processes personal data based on the consent of the data subject.
The right of the data subject under § 28 para. 1 items e) and f) may only be limited if such restriction arises from a special law or its application would violate the protection of the data subject or the rights and freedoms of others.

The data subject, upon written request, has the right to object to the processing of their personal data for:
1. a) processing of personal data that they believe is or will be processed for direct marketing purposes without their consent and request its deletion,
2. b) using personal data listed in § 10 para. 3 item d) for direct marketing purposes via postal mail, or
3. c) providing personal data listed in § 10 para. 3 item d) for direct marketing purposes.

The data subject, upon written request or personally, if the matter cannot be delayed, has the right to object to the processing of their personal data in cases under § 10 para. 3 item a), e), f) or g) by stating valid reasons or providing evidence of unauthorized interference with their rights and legally protected interests, which are or may be harmed by such processing of personal data; if no legal reasons prevent it and it is proven that the data subject's objection is justified, the operator must block and immediately delete the personal data to which the data subject objected as soon as circumstances permit.

The data subject, if they suspect their personal data is being processed unlawfully, can file a complaint with the Office for the Protection of Personal Data. If the data subject lacks full legal capacity, their rights can be exercised by their legal representative.

Consent to the processing of personal data

Our company is committed to ensuring the protection of personal data and other data in connection with the effectiveness of: • Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the protection of personal data and amendments to certain laws • Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data – GDPR  In accordance with Act No. 351/2011 Coll. on electronic communications in its later amendments and Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the protection of personal data and amendments to certain laws, we process personal data only in the minimum volume that may be provided to us according to the above-mentioned legal norms.
By this, as the buyer, I voluntarily grant consent according to § 11 of Act No. 122/2013 Coll. on the protection of personal data, as amended, for the processing of my personal data in the scope of Article VI, point 1 of the Seller's Terms and Conditions.

As the buyer, I am aware that the above consents can be revoked at any time in writing.

As the buyer, I declare that I have been properly and timely informed about the processing of my personal data according to § 15 of the Personal Data Protection Act, which is published on the website eshop.julamedic.sk
