Butrax® dietary supplement is intended to supplement the postbiotic butyrate. Butyrate is a fundamental short-chain fatty acid (SCFA). It is primarily produced by fiber-fermenting bacteria in the gut, and its levels may decrease in cases of gut microbiota imbalance. The enteric-coated formulation protects butyrate from low pH in the stomach and ensures its delivery to the intestine.
